This application allows you to easily change your rooted android’s Arabic font. After applying a font, you MUST reboot your system!
You MUST have a rooted phone for this application to work. If you don’t know what ‘ROOTED’ means you probably don’t have a rooted phone.

- Search for Dr.Ben0x Arabic Fonts in Android Market and purchase it.

Good font and when I receive SMS the messaging service halts and the message. Does not get saved. I use nexus one

You mean this happened when you installed the application? if you use Restore to default in the application, does this solves your problem?

First I would like to note that this application is just a Font Installer, it does not align the Arabic text from right to left nor does it connects the Arabic letters.
You need to update some of Android OS files, to be able to read/write Arabic properly. I have searched for an Arabization for this model and I could not find anything.
I believe that Samsung phone supports Arabic, I will keep you posted if I find a solution.

مشكلة تقطيع الحروف عندما تكون الكلمات مشكلة بالحركات
مثل
فَان الْمَوّضُوع فِي عِلْم الْنَّحْو مَثَلا هِي الْكَلِمَة وَالْكَلَام
فالحروف تكون مقطعة
بالاضافة عدم وجود الحركات في الكيبورد كالضمة والفتحة …
ارجو حل هذه المشكلة ولكم جزيل الشكر

I tried to purchase this software but once it is redirected to the android market link, it says that the application cannot be found. can you please review it and let me know once it is available .. i really need to enable the arabic fonts for my mobile.

Can you see paid applications in Android Market? if not, you need to install Market Enabler (link available above).

Thanks for your reply. I tried to install the market-Enabler application on my “HTC Tattoo” from the same link above but i get the message “problem parsing the package”.

I followed the steps in that forum to install the tattoo market 2 and i think i have done that successfully (though i dont know how to confirm!), however, I am still getting the following message while i try to search for “pname:com.benox.android.arabicfonts” in the market!
any ideas is highly appreciated.

You don’t have to search for the whole name “pname:com.benox.android.arabicfonts”, dr.ben0x (with zero not o) or arabic fonts will be enough.

The application requires a rooted phone to be able to function properly. If you have rooted your phone, please go ahead and use it.

i download the application then i root my galaxy from this site http://www.dkszone.net/root-samsung-galaxy-s-android-2-1-2-2-on-windows-mac-os-x
it is rooted and restart but when i try to open the application a message say your mobil is not rooted and still have arabic fonts with squares only

No arabic for the androids on. Any. Make I use x10 mini pro what. A pile of shit that it dosent support arabic. Android and google say. Arabic is a complex language so is cantonise and hebrew. Sorry guys no arabic on face book. Or twitter. If you have. An android how much yoou paid. 450 dollers. That I trhow away damn you sony

the app works great on my galaxy S , so I’m really grateful for what you did , but could you please add the same Arabic font that’s used by Apple on there iphones ? because it looks so much better that any Arabic computer font that I have ever encountered .. it’s clear , elegant and yet , classic [ I believe the font is called “Geeza Pro” , have a look here : http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/4856/screenshot20101125at101.jpg%5D .

You need to flash an Arabic ROM in order to see connected letters.

عشان تقدر تنزل البرنامج اعمل التالي:
1- اعمل رووت لتلفونك
2- دور في الماركت عن برنامج Market Enabler وركبه
3- في البرنامج روح على Settings list وتم ضاغط على أول اختيار us T-Mobile واختار fake this provider now
4- اعمل إعادة تشغيل لتلفونك وبعدين شغل الماركت، المفروض تطلعلك كل البرامج المجانية وغير المجانية

Hi Brain, some users reported that it does not work because this model is not fully rooted yet, in other words, the app cannot access certain system folder after rooting.
If you believe that your phone is fully rooted, you can try it out within the 15 minutes refund window and see if it works or not.
